A conversation with the author, dramatist and literary translator

Márton László was born and brought up in Budapest. Between 1978 and 1983, he studied at the Faculty of Humanities of the Eötvös Lóránd University of Sciences majoring in Hungarian-German-Sociology. Between 1984 and 1989, he worked as the editor of the Helikon Kiadó (Helikon Publisher). Since 1990, he has been a freelance author. Márton László wrote his drama trilogy entitled “A Nagyratörő” (The Ambitious) in the early 1990s. It also appeared as a book and was received by the literary public opinion with great interest. However, this work waited 15 years to be continued. Elek Tibor has a conversation with him about his relations to Shakespeare.
